Our inaugural Maxine's Circle Event was as dreamy as it could get. Perfect cool weather, a lush garden, soothing acoustic guitar, generous pours of wines fueling candid conversations and laughter. By the third or fourth glass and home-made canapé later, everyone is buzzing with this unshakable electrifying energy.

We watched sunset together on the lawn; I, barefooted, while Maxine was immersed in her zoomies. The evening was concluded with hugs exchanged by newly-minted friends and some free-spirited belting of oldies song on the karaoke set.
